33rd Annual Excellence in Nursing Award Celebration

The New England Regional Black Nurses Association (NERBNA) Inc. will host the 33rd Annual Excellence in Nursing Award Celebration on Friday, February 26, 2021 virtually because of the on-going pandemic and we as nurses are making all efforts to promote health and safety.

NERBNA is pleased to announce that this event will include a historical perspective and honoring outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the nursing profession during the 33rd Annual Excellence in Nursing Award Ceremony. Our keynote speaker for the evening will be Dr. Joyce Newman Giger, Editor, Journal of National Black Nurses Association, Inc.

This is a unique opportunity for your organization to advertise your well wishes by taking a page in the Program Book, sponsoring the event, or contributing to the Scholarship Fund. You also will have the opportunity to nominate black nurses from your organization who demonstrate excellence in nursing; especially those who made a great contribution during the Covid-19 Pandemic or nurses who promote diversity and inclusion within their organization. Nurses will be recognized at the awards ceremony for demonstrated excellence in four different nursing categories: Research, Education/Teaching, Leadership and Practice.
